If it's been a while since your last raise or other employees doing the same job, either inside or outside the organization, make more money than you, it may be time to ask for a raise..
You can determine how much you are worth by surveying other employees, locating salary surveys within your industry, or checking with your human resources function.
Pull together competitive salary information and detail your contributions to your department and organization. Present this to your manager to justify why you feel you deserve the increase.
